Peer Review

Evaluation process:

At first the journal's editorial team must approve the relevance of the submitted article. The manuscript will then be sent to two reviewers external to the journal's committee, selected based on thematic affinity criteria. The peer review system used is double-blind. Acceptance of the article will depend on the reviewers' recommendation, who will suggest, if necessary, adjustments and/or modifications prior to publication.

A period of 6 months from the date of submission is stipulated for sending the first response with the evaluation results, and approximately one year between submission and publication.

The journal is committed to ensuring that at least one of the two evaluations is carried out by a person external to the institution and/or by a foreign reviewer.

Conflict resolution:

Articles are accepted for publication if they receive two "acceptable" or "acceptable with minor modifications" verdicts. If an article receives one "acceptable"/"acceptable with minor modifications" and one "resubmit for review (major modifications required)", the authors will be asked to make revisions and the Editorial Committee will decide whether the article undergoes a new round of review. If an article receives two "resubmit for review (major modifications required)" verdicts, it is considered rejected.

A third review will be required if the article receives one "acceptable" or "acceptable with minor modifications" and one "rejected" verdict.
