Woman, wife, daughter, mother, educator, activist and exiled converge in Azucena Rodríguez Ousset trajectory and profesional practices narrated in this article. Graduated from the career of Pedagogy and Psychology at the National University of Cordoba in the sixties and formed by a group of pedagogical studies founders in the same university, Azucena integrates a generation of "academy pedagogues" (Coria, 2001), who went into exile in 1976 and which the dictatorship take Argentina’s hopes and dreams whose path was the education as an axis in the construction of the better posible society.
This article sustain that the exile of Azucena in Mexico was a trip of formation and awareness for her (Larrosa; Carli, 2013), through that she detached of her formation heritage to found it later in the writing and in the dialogue she choose to sustain with the educative challengue that the haven country imposed to her. The reconstruction of biographical fragments of this pedagogue, are show like a way –of many possibles- to approach to the argentinian exile in general and the recent past of argentinian and mexican higher education, which in many times are written ignoring the actions that exiled academics and intellectuals have accomplished.
